Many people think that the length of the school year should be longer and vacations should be much shorter. I disagree that the school vacation should be shorter. I think it is great the students are able to get a break from their very busy and stressful school years and have an opportunity to just be kids, relax and have fun with their peers without having to worry about homework, school and sports practices. The length of the vacation as it is allows people to bring their children on vacation and do other things that they are unable to do otherwise with the busy school year. Summer camps would also not be able to happen with shorter vacations. I think it's great there are things such as summer camps, summer sports, and summer vacations where children are able to explore a "new world"/ new experience, with other friends, family or strangers who becomes friends. Without the summer vacation as it is, much would be lost.

Nowadays, people are divided on the question how students should arrange their school days. Some people claim students should spend the whole school days in academic studies. However, others contend physical exercise should be a required part of every school day.

As for me, I will choose the latter without hesitation. Being a student, his or her main task is to work hard on his or her academic study. Only by studying hard can he or she obtain adequate knowledge from academic studies. Nevertheless, I don’t think a student should focus on studying too much, he or she should join in other meaningful activities. For instance, doing physical exercise is a good way to make students’ life more colorful and beneficial.
