John was listening to music on the ipod while riding his bike. He did not pay attention that he was not on the bike lane. A car drove by and honked. John was caught by surprise and lost his balance. He hit the car. The driver stopped in time and came out, asking John if he was all right. A traffice policeman came too. After checking the accident spot, the policeman said John should not ride a bike on a car lane. And, John scratched his head and felt sorry.

Nowadays, with the development of the technology, and the growth of the consumption levels among the common people, the number of vehicles increases dramatically in big cities. Therefore, more and more attention is paid into the various traffic problems. And finding out an effective method to deal with such sorts of problem is becoming a hot issue.

At first place, it is very clear to everybody that the traffic congestion appears more and more frequently in the cities, especially during the rush hours, and it gradually becomes a kind of threat to the students and elder people when they are going to school or doing the morning exercises. In addition, some people often violate the traffic rules, and might lead some serious accidents in the big cities. Besides, the air might be polluted due to the fact that the enlargement of the waste air from the cars and buses.

Consequently, as far as I am concerned, government should increase the tax for the private cars, so that more people will intend to use the public transportation to commute. Meanwhile, the education department should invite some experts of traffic to hold open classes for the people who are often break the traffic rules. Finally, the individuals should unite the efforts together to improve the concept of traffic security. Only in these ways, can it be possible for us to conquer the traffic problems in the big cities.
