Dear President，

I hope you are doing great！l am Li Ming，one of the sophomore students in our university.I saw that our Student Union posted a notice collecting advice about enriching extracurricular activ-ities， soI am writing this letter to make some suggestions.

First， could you organize more sports activities？ Now， there is only one annual school-wide sports meet， and I believe both the variety and the frequency of such events can be increased. Second， it might be a good idea for our students to engage in more social activities which can broaden their horizons and im-prove their sense of responsibilities. The Student Union can re-cruit volunteers to aid rural Project Hope primary schools，go to nursing homes to visit elderly people， and raise funds to help disadvantaged groups.Besides， I suggest that more distin-guished experts and scholars in distinct fields be invited to de-liver speeches to our students.Last year，the Student Union or-ganized a couple of forums and lectures， which received wide acclaim from both students and teachers in our school.

I will never forget that day. Maybe I had enjoy myself a lot of times. But, that day,really changes me. It's (date),my birthday. I got up early. The beautiful presents and delicious cake makes me dreamed all night before. Now, finally, I waited until this day. But things in this year is quiet different.Mom and dad took me out.At first, I thought,maybe they're taking me to the park.But,they drove the car out of the city.I 'm really worried.I want to say something, but my momther and father both look serious.So, I kept quiet. The journey was long and boring. I soon felt asleep.After about 30 minutes,mom waked me up and told me,"We're here.Come down."I got out of the car.There was an old school.It's too old that I can't believe it,till I saw the sign,"XX School.""These are children who are too poor to go to the good schools.And,they're all ophans."said my mom.I looked at them.They looked poor,but when I told them study.Their eyes became bright.Their looked excited.I am really moved. We can study in a fine place.But some of us don't really care about it.But they,they're poor.But they study really hard.And besides,we have our parents. We can feel love all of the time.But they can't.They're ophans.How poor they are! Though that day I didn't play any games.But I can feel from my heart that,we really should do something to take care of the poor people in this world. I will never forget this day.
