There are four seasons in a year. Spring, summer, fall and winter. In spring, the weather is windy and warm. In summer, the weather is hot and sunny.
In fall, the weather is windy and cool. In winter, the weather is always windy and cold. They are all good. But my favourite season is summer. 　Do you know “why?” Because I can eat ice-cream and eat watermelons. I can swim in the lake. Expecially I can spend a good holiday. In the holiday,I can go hiking with my parents. I can play with my friends. I can watch TV and I can do everything that I want to do. So summer is my favourite season. What about you?

英语作文书信格式：
英语作文书信格式分一般格式和特殊格式。一般来说，英文书信包括：信头 (Heading)、日期(Date)、收信人姓名及地址(Inside Name and Address)、称呼 (Salutation)、信文(Body of the letter)、结束语(Complimentary close)、署名(Signature)和附 言(P.S.)。
信头，指的是写信人的地址。但是，地址的写法与中文的有区别，顺序应该从小到大。
写日期的时候应注意，年份要写完整，月份除了May, July外，其他的月份可以使用缩写，但是不能使用数字来表示。
写收信人姓名及地址的时候要注意使用称号，如对普通男子用Mr，对未婚女子用Miss，对已婚女子用Mrs等。
称呼是指对收信人的称呼，一般会使用Dea。
信文是信的主要内容，也是信的主体部分。
署名的时候一般使用Yours，附言是当写信人突然想起还有事情要说的时候，在信的署名下面写上P.S， 然后写上要补充的内容即可。

Dear Mr. Seaton，
Thank you very much for taking me with you on that splendid outing to London. It was the first time that I had seen the Tower or any of the other famous sights. If I'd gone alone, I couldn't have seen nearly as much, because I wouldn't have known my way about.
The weather was splendid on that day, which I thought was rare. I still remember some people told me that in Britain there was weather and no climate. During the same day, it might snow in the morning, rain at noon, shine in the afternoon and be windy before the night falls. So I think I was lucky.
I think the river trip was the best thing of all. London really came alive for me as we saw it from the Thames during that wonderful journey down to Greenwich. It was all tremendously exciting - a day that I shall never forget.

The most important thing to me was that I feel frustrated for having few friends to confide in due to your strict rules.I can’t have a play date,participate in a school play or even choose my own extracurricular activities.Who will accept such a boring and troublesome person?I am just an ordinary girl who can’t stand loneliness,so I always feel contradictory.

On the one hand, I’m grateful to have you in my life, to disappoint you was the least I would do. On the other hand, what you asked for me made me felt like a puppet rather than a real person. I appreciated your efforts to pull me away from a self-indulgent life, but your obsessively extravagant strictness has pushed me into an isolated and insensible one. I need a little freedom so that I will concentrate on something I really interested in.

Father and mother, these words were hid in my deep heart for a long time. I love you, and I believe if you change some harsh rules. I will have a wonderful life.
