首先明白新闻大致内容

新闻都具有时效性，因此就相关的内容进行搜索以自己熟悉的语言先大致了解新闻内容，再拿听力材料进行练习。入门阶段建议这样做，要不一上来去听新闻会觉得陌生而困惑。练习几次后，再直接进行新闻听力英文的接触。

培养正确的听力习惯

大家不要因为一个词或者一个句子没有听懂而中断后续的思路，如果这样的听力习惯会导致整个内容的混乱与丢失。因此切记不要在没有听懂的地方过于纠结与停留，因为一点内容没有听懂不会影响到整个文章内容的听不懂，我们要学会抓大放小，学会放弃。听不懂的地方整个听完后再回去反复听，要弄明白没有听懂的原因，可能是某个单词不认识;某个专业术语意思理解偏差;某个语法不明白导致句子意思无法理解;或者语速加快导致的;又或者是自己的不专心。

忽略不太易懂的人名或地名

自考雅思英语要做那些准备

如果你时间充裕,单词最好能背背。不一定拿本很难的词汇。我自己亲身实践的结果是--背一本四级词汇，雅思就差不多够用了。
建议你报新东方的雅思培训班，它会教你雅思各种应试技巧。同样的英文功底，仅仅是学了这些技巧之后，你就能在原有基础上提高半分到一分。这不是夸张，我亲身实践过的。
一般雅思培训班都会在报名时为你准备资料。我用的是新东方大愚系列的单项练习，效果还不错。另外剑桥雅思，就是紫+黑色书皮的系列模拟题一定要做，从该系列第3本至少做到第7本。这些材料到处都有卖。
听力要每天听。找一份听力材料，例如《LISTEN TO THIS》，用两方法训练：1，听一个句子的同时，手上记录关键词。2，听完一个句子，等念完后再写下来。我用这两个方法，两个月提高了一分的听力成绩。
口语要每天都练，不能停。如果没有伙伴可以和你一起练，那就对着镜子说。口语题目在我刚才提到的模拟题上都有样题。
阅读用我提到的剑桥雅思和新东方大愚系列就够了。
