(这是来了澳洲几个月后，给国内正准备考试的一位朋友的信，是到了一个英语环境后，对提高口语的一些新感悟。)

不过有一点我很清楚，听力还是不行，听讲座是能听懂90%，和人简单交流时还可以，但奇怪的是，当对方是陈述事情时，我只能听懂50%。如去银行开户，询问有关事宜，或我和两个native speaker一起，他们说起什么事情，我常常会听得一头雾水。。(Tip:初来时可能会因为有很多听不懂而胆战心惊，其实记住这没什么可恐惧的，逐步适应了就好了，而且一定会improve的.刚来时我有很多听不懂，现在已经没什么问题了，99%的情况下可以全部听懂)

告诉你一个坏消息，我英语口语水平反而在下降!!!上课光听不说，回来要么埋头写论文，要么和中国朋友讲两句中文。认为出了国英语就会自然提高的想法是非常非常错误的。比如一起住的台湾女孩，来澳州四年了，上次还说，如果经常不看电视，英语会下降的。而和我一起做telemarketing的一个上海女孩说，她在国内上班是在外企讲英文，下班尽量找外国人接触，练英文。而来这儿，天天晚上做telemarketing讲中文，回家也讲中文，口语越讲越差。看来，我只有把论文交了以后，天天多看电视来提高口语。我现在每天早上看半个小时电视，看半个小时报纸。记住一点，提高口语主要是靠input，比如你看电视剧，某人说了某用法，你要记住，下次就知道怎么表达了。或者看了报纸记住对某事的描述怎么用词用句，下次就知道怎么说了，input和output一样的重要，哪怕你天天去英语角，你不会说的还是不会说，你必须要先有input，然后才去英语角说。和外国人在一起会提高口语?那是指你要记住他们怎么说，你下次就会有意识的也学着说了。所以你要提高口语，千万不要寄希望于出国了自然会好，而要从国内就开始，跟影碟学很有用，可以一句一句学，反复放，如果影碟你听不懂，那可以买专门教口语的有台词的电影剪辑。跟英文电影来学生活的口语，而跟书面材料也可以学到一些有用表述，因为你和人交流时，不仅是一些口语化的东西，也许有时你需要向别人描述某事，或表达你的某个思想，你如果没有以前的input就没有output,就会发现要表达自己很费力，这就要靠平时的积累了。金大话英语培训网

(Tip:在英语语言环境，听力的大幅提高是必然的，但是口语的提高，是需要投入许多的精力，一定要不断的无止尽的记忆各种用法、不断积累，而且还要敢说)
